The CADD®-Solis VIP (variable infusion profile) Ambulatory Infusion Pump is designed to facilitate patient care for a variety of adult and pediatric patients and clinical care areas. The pump can be programmed with a protocol configuration consisting of a therapy, qualifier and drug information. The pump delivers via the following delivery profiles: PCA, continuous, intermittent, variable stepped rate, and tapered infusions for analgesia, chemotherapy, hydration, antibiotics, immune globulin, and TPN.
CADD™-Solis Medication Safety Software Administrator Program is a Windows® based application designed to help select staff members create and manage standardized pump protocols securely. This application helps Pharmacists and Nurses save time by automatically programming the CADD®-Solis VIP pump. Moreover, it also collects infusion data for additional pump documentation, reporting, and CQI data analysis.
The CADD-Solis VIP ambulatory infusion pump provides measured drug therapy to patients in hospital or outpatient settings. Therapy should always be overseen by a physician or a certified, licensed healthcare professional. As appropriate, the caregiver and patient should be instructed in using the pump.
The CADD Solis 2120 ambulatory infusion pump is designed for use in intravenous, intra-arterial, subcutaneous, intraperitoneal, in close proximity to nerves, into an intraoperative site, epidural space, or subarachnoid space infusion. The pump is intended for therapies that require a continuous rate of infusion, patient-controlled demand doses, or both.
