The Datex-Ohmeda S/5 Avance is an integrated anesthesia workstation intended to provide general inhalation anesthesia and ventilatory support for a wide range of patients.
It supports volume control or pressure control ventilation, making it a flexible fit for everyday OR workflows.
The system is designed around electronic gas mixing with pneumatic back-up control for continuity of operation.
Its Advanced Breathing System (ABS) is built to reduce leak potential with fewer parts and tube connections, and it’s designed for tool-free disassembly with autoclavable, latex-free components.
Important: the S/5 Avance is not suitable for use in an MRI environment.
